Sativa plays original indie dreamfolk songs in and around California’s Napa Valley. She released her first single, “Lightning and Fire,” in 2023 and “Lament of the Mayfly” in 2024. Both songs are from Blood Essential, an album in (slow) development. With striking vulnerability and lush harmonies, Sativa’s tunes recall The Cranberries, Cat Power, and Mazzy Star.
